Terms of service
These terms are an agreement between you and GRLS Do. Please read them. They're written to be understood.

1. About GRLS Do
GRLS Do is based in London, United Kingdom. GRLS Do is a marketplace: it lets hosts list events and lets you discover and book them. Unless an event is marked as a GRLS Do Original, the host (not GRLS Do) organises and runs it and is responsible for it.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or over and give accurate information, including your date of birth.
- Keep access to your email or Apple ID secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from the app. See account deletion.
3. Booking tickets
- When you book, you enter into a contract with the host for the event. We process payment on the host's behalf through Stripe.
- Prices include any booking fee, shown before you pay.
- Each event's refund and cancellation policy is shown on its page before you book and forms part of your booking.
- If a host cancels an event, you'll receive a full refund to your original payment method.
- If an event is significantly different from its description, contact us and we'll help resolve it with the host.
- Tickets are personal and may not be resold for profit. Transfers are allowed where the event permits.
- Hosts may refuse entry if you don't meet the published eligibility requirements (for example, a women-only event).
4. Connecting with others
Social features are optional. You agree to follow our community guidelines in everything you post or send. You own what you post; you give us a licence to host and display it for the purpose of running GRLS Do. We may remove content or restrict accounts that break the rules.
5. Hosts
- Hosts must provide accurate event information, label who each event is for honestly, and honour their published refund policy.
- Hosts are responsible for their events, including venues, safety, licences, insurance and compliance with the law.
- Hosts may only use attendee information to run the event and must not message attendees for unrelated marketing without consent.
- Fees and payouts are set out in the host agreement. Payouts are made through Stripe Connect and are subject to Stripe's terms.
- We may remove listings or suspend hosts who break these terms or our standards.
6. What you must not do
Don't use GRLS Do for anything illegal, to harm or harass others, to scrape data, to interfere with the service or security, or to create accounts for anyone else.
7. Our responsibility to you
We provide GRLS Do with reasonable care and skill. We're not responsible for events we don't run, or for the conduct of other users at events, but nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. If you're a consumer, you keep your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid through GRLS Do in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Suspension and ending
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk. We'll tell you why unless doing so would be unsafe or unlawful. You can appeal: see the community guidelines.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. For significant changes we'll give you notice in the app or by email before they apply.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can bring proceedings in your local courts.
